It was such a great day, it deserved a page all on its own!
Our President, Pat Jay, organised the best event and although we do not have the final figures in yet I think we can safely say that this was one of the best fundraisers. So far.....we have raised over 5000 euros!
From nervous grins and whispers of "I'm not sure if I can do this" to cheers, laughs, cuddles and "YAAAA, I did it!"
The Euro Weekly News came to take pictures and speak to some of the carers, volunteers and zippers!
So many participants and so many fundraisers. Loved ones caring for those with dementia, sons, wives, daughters, friends, friends of friends, our own volunteers and people that just wanted to raise funds to help us continue supporting the carers and their loved ones living with dementia!
